My first tutorial ever! *throws confetti*

Covers certain pen techniques which involves the 'shock' emotion - speed lines, thought bubbles, sound effects - and how I do them.

These are not to be taken lightly. Do the effects properly, even a manga with simple looking characters will look impressive. Correct techniques will allow you to express the emotions in the manga better and in a more convincing manner. Do them wrongly... your manga will look weak even if the chracters are nicely drawn...
